Privacy Policy
The short version
Word Search Haven is a free puzzle game. You do not need an account and we never ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or location. Your progress stays on your phone. The only thing that talks to the internet is the advertising that keeps the game free, provided by Google AdMob, and you can limit how it uses your data.
What stays on your device
The game saves the following locally, using your device's app storage, and never uploads it to us:
- Stars earned on journey levels and progress in themed packs
- Coins, boosters, hearts and the heart refill timer
- Daily puzzle streak
- Settings such as sound, music, haptics and letter size
We run no servers of our own and cannot see any of this. Uninstalling the game deletes it.
Advertising
The game shows ads served by Google AdMob (Google LLC): interstitial ads between some levels and rewarded videos that you choose to watch for coins, boosters, hearts or to unlock a pack early. Watching a rewarded video is always optional.
To deliver, personalise and measure ads, Google may collect and process:
- Your device's advertising ID (Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA), where permitted
- IP address and approximate (city-level) location derived from it
- Device model, operating system version, language and screen size
- App identifier and ad interaction data (views, clicks, rewards)
- Crash and performance diagnostics of the ads SDK
This data is handled under Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. We do not receive personal data from Google; we only see aggregated ad statistics.
Your choices and consent
- European Economic Area, UK and Switzerland: before any ad is shown you see a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform). You can decline personalised ads and still play. Change your choice any time in the game under Settings → Ad privacy choices.
- US states with privacy laws: the same form lets you opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information where applicable.
- Everyone: you can reset or delete your advertising ID and turn off ad personalisation in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking / Apple Advertising).
Children
Word Search Haven is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the ads SDK, contact us and we will help you have it removed via Google.
Third-party services
- Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform — advertising and consent. Privacy policy.
- Google Play / Apple App Store — distribution and updates, governed by their own policies.
No analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no social login and no payment provider is included. The game has no in-app purchases.
Deleting your data
Because there is no account, there is nothing for us to delete on a server. Uninstalling the game removes all local progress. Ad-related data held by Google is controlled through your device's advertising settings and Google's tools at myadcenter.google.com. If you still want to reach us about data, email online@fruxinfo.com.
Security and retention
Local data is stored in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot read. We keep no copies. Ad data retention is set by Google and described in its policies.
Changes to this policy
If we add a feature that changes what data is handled, we will update this page and the copy inside the game (Settings → Privacy Policy) and change the date at the top.
